We had a great online conference with professional soccer player and Techne Futbol Founder, Yael Averbuch yesterday. She talked to our players about experiences as a youth player, a professional player, chasing her dreams, setting tough goals and constantly pushing herself to be better. Yael also spoke to us about her own company – Techne Futbol – which is a training app designed to help soccer players develop advanced ball skills.
Everyone registered to a Girls Unite team should have received a Techne Futbol app invite. Techne is an amazing tool for you to work on your technical skills… even while social distancing and avoiding contact sports!
Yael has invited each Girls Unite player to be in a 30-day challenge starting tomorrow, Wednesday July 7/15. Any player that does a minimum of 10 minutes of logged Techne training 30 min a day starting tomorrow will win a very cool Techne prize.
I encourage all of us to take the challenge. It will be great for our soccer skills, help us to set and achieve a goal, and just keep our bodies moving. I hope you will all be part of this challenge!
