Zine-Making & Tiny-Journalism Workshop

By January 25, 2022 No Comments

We are so excited to announce a pilot program helping youth connect with their creative side! Your player is invited to come work with our resident writer, Dani Leone, and explore their writing potential.

Zines are noncommercial, nonconventional, tiny magazines often devoted to specialized subject matter. They are beloved by fringe-dwellers and DIY-ers for their versatility and economy. Get creative with tiny-journalism and artwork in this workshop.

About the instructor:  Dani has a masters degree in fiction writing and spent 20 years working as a newspaper columnist. She’s published two fiction books and one nonfiction, and currently edits and publishes a miniature weekly newspaper, Tiny Day, a collaboration between children and established Bay Area writers.
