Girls Unite 2023-24 Competitive Coaching Lineup!

Girls Unite Competitive Soccer Program is pleased to announce our 2023-2024 competitive coaching lineup!

After a successful year of post-pandemic growth and community building in 2022-23, Girls Unite has now doubled-down on our mission to provide top-quality coaching and development for female-identifying athletes in San Francisco.  We have aggressively recruited and hired top level leaders in female soccer who share Girls Unite’s vision to empower, inspire, and holistically develop young female athletes through the sport of soccer; including technical proficiency, tactical understanding, physical fitness, mental resilience, leadership, and a sense of community in our players that will equip them with the tools to excel on and off the field. We aim to provide the leadership, resources, and environment to prepare well-rounded athletes for high-level competition, future/collegiate opportunities, leadership roles, and positively contributing to their communities. We are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of confident, strong, and impactful female athletes.

The Girls Unite 2023-24 competitive coaching team now represents the highest level of coaching dedicated to female soccer player development in San Francisco; consisting of multiple USSF B Licenses coaches, the current US Futsal National Team coach, a former Olympian and World Cup athlete, current professional soccer players, and the US National Beach Soccer captain & Player of the Year.

Goalkeeper training lead Shalom Kimble also brings a wealth of knowledge and teaching ability, working with GK on and off the field to develop in our club’s forward-thinking focus with this position.

Girls Unite recognizes that highly skilled and dedicated coaches are key to the success of our programs. This group is now the most experienced professional and licensed group of coaches dedicated to female player development in San Francisco. In addition to recruiting top level talent, we’re also continually developing new female head coaches through our internal pathway.
