Weee Kickin It is a unique youth soccer development program wherein kids as young as 2 1/2 start learning balance, athleticism, self-confidence, teamwork and expression — all with a soccer ball. The program is repeatable and progressive, so that eventually, at 4-6yo, kids are playing a game called Scoreboard Soccer, where they earn points for their team not just by scoring a goal, but by playing good defense, passing, communicating meaningfully with their teammates, etc. This is a great way to foster a love of soccer and joy in playing it no matter what your level of play or skill set.

8 weekday sessions and 6 weekend sessions, at Marina Green Saturdays and St. Marys Sundays for Spring, playing primarily against other GU teams with other GU coaches on the field, reinforcing club culture, a fun-first mentality, and our playing style emphasizing creativity, joy, teamwork, and learning through positive reinforcement. Registration will include one 1-hour session per week and one session per weekend. Registration also includes one Weee Kickin’ It reversible shirt that will be handed out to players by their coach the first week of their session.

Weekday Sessions: 1x/week
Weekend Sessions: 1x/week for 6 weeks, players will have an option to select game location during registration
Dates: weekday classes start March 1, weekend classes start (generally) March 21st

Sundays, Jan 10 – Feb 28 (8 sessions), $275 per player

Sundays 9-10am: 2.5-3 yo (Targeting Mission Playground or another central location, 19th St & Linda St, 36 Cunningham Pl, San Francisco)
Sundays 10-11am: 4-5 yo (Targeting Mission Playground or another central location, 19th St & Linda St, 36 Cunningham Pl, San Francisco)
Sundays 11-12pm: 5 yo and up beginners (Targeting Mission Playground or another central location, 19th St & Linda St, 36 Cunningham Pl, San Francisco)
