Girls Unite Cancellation / Refund / Transfer Policy
Full payment due at registration. All enrollment fees include a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the enrollment fee. A request to withdraw needs to be made before the designated deadline for a 75% refund. The deadline is in the spring for the following fall season, and in the fall for the following spring season. No refunds or credits for future seasons will be provided after the designated deadline.
Note: There are limited spaces on Girls Unite recreational soccer teams. When a player registers and fills a team position, this limits another player’s ability to play on a Girls Unite team. In addition, team rosters have strict minimum and maximum sizes that we cannot go over or under. Once registered, you and your player have made a commitment to fill one of these positions. Once a team is registered, many expenses are non-refundable such as league fees, field permits, coach salary, administrative costs, equipment and insurance. If there is a catastrophic event outside of our control (infectious disease outbreaks, fires, natural disasters), Girls Unite will pass on any refunds in costs we receive back to players/families.
Futsal/Indoor Soccer Teams
Full payment due at registration. All enrollment fees include a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the enrollment fee. A request to withdraw needs to be made before the designated fall deadline for a 75% refund. No refunds or credits for future seasons will be provided after the designated deadline.
Note: There are limited spaces on winter futsal/indoor soccer teams. When a player registers and fills a team position, this has the effect of denying another player an opportunity to play on a Girls Unite’s futsal team. Once a team is registered, many expenses are non-refundable such as uniforms, league fees, outdoor field permits, coach salary, administrative costs, equipment and insurance. If there is a catastrophic event outside of our control (infectious disease outbreaks, fires, natural disasters), Girls Unite will pass on any refunds in costs we receive back to players/families. If indoor events are canceled, Girls Unite will continue to offer outdoor practices/games/scrimmages as allowed.
Competitive Teams (Fall-Spring Seasons)
$250 non-refundable deposit due when accepting offer, by deadline set in offer letter. Full payment due by deadline in the summer prior to fall season begins. No refunds or credits for future seasons will be provided after the designated deadline.
Note: Our refund policy must be strict as a player’s acceptance of a team position has the effect of denying another player an opportunity to play on a Girls Unite’s competitive team. Additionally, Girls Unite incurs costs each time a player registers to play soccer (administrative, coaching staff, league fees, field permits, equipment, insurance, etc.).
