FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (optional)
We are a non-profit organization and our fees reflect the costs of running our organization and paying coaches. We do have a financial assistance program to ensure competitive league play is an option for all kids in SF. Financial Assistance may be available upon request. To pay over a period of months, please use the Registration link above and choose the installment plan option at the end of the registration process.
For financial aid consideration, do NOT register using the link above. Please use the link below to complete our Financial Assistance Request Form no later than May 5th. You will receive information regarding next steps after you submit your application. You should complete the Girls Unite Deposit payment to secure your roster spot however. If this is of financial concern to your family, email admin@girlsunite.org to ask for a reduced deposit.
Step 2
Order Uniforms
Order Uniforms between June 1 – June 15, 2023.
All Girls Unite players need to be fitted in Girls Unite uniforms in time for the start of the fall soccer season. Competitive players will be assigned jersey numbers by Girls Unite after a competitive team offer is accepted and registration completed. Competitive players with uniform from the 2022-23 seasons do not need to order a new uniform.
- Returning players will be able to keep their numbers if they are staying with their same team from the prior year.
- New players to a team or to Girls Unite will be assigned number.
- As we wish not to duplicate jersey numbers within an age group we cannot accommodate specific number requests.
- Because the Development Academy will participate in NorCal sanctioned events, players must order uniforms to participate in those events.
You may visit our FAQ section for a list of other items needed. Be sure to order uniforms as soon as possible in order to be ready for the next season (we were impacted significantly by shipping delays this past year).
Step 3
League Registration
Register between May 30-July 1st, 2023.
Previous season ends June 30th, players can upload required player documents for upcoming Fall season.
NorCal league registration is how your player gets a player card for game day through the league and how Development Academy players are able to participate in NorCal playdates.
- Click on “GotSport” link in the button below
- Click “reset password” (the primary email address entered into the Teamsnap Club Registration is your username/gotsport email, email admin@girlsunite.org if you need confirmation).
- Follow the prompts from GotSport to create a password for your account, then create your parent/guardian account with your (adult) details. Save changes.
- You will need to upload two items: (1) player photo (2) birth document and complete the (3) R-002 form for each player electronically.
- How to complete NorCal League Registration
- How to upload a document
- To complete the (3) R002 form: click the “Forms” tab on the player profile and complete the required form electronically.
Step 4
Player Handbook
Girls Unite requires players and their guardians/parents to get to know and to abide by the Girls Unite Player Handbook, which outlines expectations and best practices for kids and their families as members of the Girls Unite soccer club and overall community. Be sure to review the sample handbook and its policies with your player.
The 2019-2020 GU Player Handbook is the most recent version.
Step 5
Summer Camps - Team Camp
Mandatory Team Camp for Purple/Black/Gray players: Aug 7 – Aug 11, 2023
In order to begin the next season right, all Girls Unite competitive players are encouraged to register for summer team camp taking place the week of 8/7-8/11/23. The cost of team camp is included in team fees. If you will not be able to attend, the cost of camp is not refundable. This week is essential team and individual preparation for the upcoming season.
Development Academy players have the option to register separately and pay for Summer Team Camp.
Separate registration is required for attendance purposes: Register for Summer Team Camp. Please select the “Current Girls Unite Competitive Team Player ONLY” option to proceed without payment.
In addition, competitive players are strongly encouraged to attend the full 3-week SUMMER CAMP July 17 – Aug 4, Aug 14-18, 2023. The cost of these additional camp weeks are not covered in your team fees.
