Congratulations! We're excited to welcome your child to our next season of soccer. Please review and follow all of the steps outlined below. If you have any questions, please make sure you have read this page. Then review our FAQ page. If you still have unanswered questions, please contact us at admin@girlsunite.org
Step 1
Club Registration - TEAMSNAP
Due Friday, May 12th (Open Monday, May 1st) for Fall Season.
To accept your player’s offer to join a Girls Unite Microsoccer team, please click on the link below and complete our registration form via TeamSnap.
You must pay at the time of registration — you must pay in full. If you apply for financial assistance, do NOT use this link. Use the Financial Assistance section below.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (optional)
For financial aid consideration, do NOT register using the link above. Please use the link below to complete our Financial Assistance Request Form no later than May 5th for Fall Season and Nov 11th for Spring Season. All requests will be reviewed and financial assistance offers will be sent 3 business days after application submission. After receiving your financial aid award, you will need to complete the Step 1 registration link through Teamsnap.
Step 2
League Registration & Payment - Demosphere (New for Fall 2023)
Due by 10 am Monday, May 15th (Open Friday, May 12th) for Fall season.
All Micro players are required to register with the league in addition to the club. Vikings Micro League fees are additional to club fees. League fees must be paid directly to the league by the families per league rules.
League registration deadline is subject to change based on league updates. Note: Vikings Micro league has switched to a NEW software platform for Fall 2023, Demosphere (We know, we’re sorry too).
Exact team names to enter into Demosphere (copy/paste):
1st – Girls Unite CAIS Phoenix Firedragons (Girls)
1st – Girls Unite New School Fun (Girls)
1st – Girls Unite Brandeis Balloon Bears (CoEd)
1st – Girls Unite Alvarado Mountain Lions (CoEd)
Step 3
Player Handbook
Girls Unite requires players and their guardians/parents to get to know and to abide by the Girls Unite Player Handbook, which outlines expectations and best practices for kids and their families as members of the Girls Unite soccer club and overall community. Be sure to review the handbook and its policies with your player and as needed.
2019-2020 GU Player Handbook is the most recent version.
Step 4
Micro Uniform
Micro Player uniforms for games are a purple tshirt, black shorts, and black socks. Families can choose to supply their own black shorts and black socks.
All new Girls Unite micro players joining for Spring will receive a free girls unite t-shirt. These will be handed to your coach the first week of practice to hand out to players.
All Girls Unite micro players returning from Fall to Spring season should already have their practice shirt.
Step 5
Summer Camps (Optional)
Keep your player active this summer — having fun and building skills + community. All of our summer camps are optional and open to ALL kids — girls & boys, all levels, ages 6 – 16. We hope to see your child there!
